Joe and his staff were great Paul Oliver camp was perfect. "I have had an absolutely wonderful time at Ingwenya and improved my polo tremendously as also the rest of this great trip-thanks!" We also wish Ren and Michael Duinker well on their Gaucho Safari during the Palermo in Argentina, Rhian Chilcott on the Pushkar Cattle Fair Ride in India and Georgina Dow, Polo Editor of Horse & Hound UK on the Maharaja's Polo Safari in India. Other Testimonials... "Dear Inder Jit, I loved Argentina, despite their economic difficulties, everyone we met was great. I would particularly like to say to you that I really enjoyed the guide, Beatriz Croppi, whom Toia hired to show us around BA. I wish you All The Best in the holiday season. Thanks for all your help making our trip to Argentina so pleasant. "Dear IJ: "Not only was the polo great but the hacks, wild life excursions and white water trip you customized for my son and I made this a trip of a lifetime for both me, the polo fanatic, and my son, the non-rider. We will treasure the sunrise from the Hill fort of Mundota forever." "Your polo safari was exactly the kind of holiday that Sally and I were looking for... and we had looked the world over...! To be able to play polo and ride and go on overland expeditions, stopping at wonderful old palaces and see images of India that my father, grandfather as well as great grandfather did, serving with the military...was a dream come true, especially since Sally was able to ride at her own level while I improved my polo!" "IJ's & TigerPaw added hugely to my enjoyment of India. They were always there when I needed them, providing a sense of security and continuity as I moved about India. Yet they also enabled me to indulge in utmost flexibility, cheerfully changing my itinerary on several occasions when I was presented with new opportunities. I was most impressed that Major General Surjit Singh personally telephoned us everyday or so as we moved about India, to ensure everything was in order and to our satisfaction. I also never expected to be introduced to so many of the Royal and Noble Families, all of whom seemed delighted to include us in polo matches, parties, and festivals. In India, a guest is almost higher than God, and we feel a level of warmth and affection here, that can not be captured with such a word as 'Hospitality' which in America has come to mean a sort of merchandised service for purely economic motives. Many Americans come to India to study yoga or to have some kind of spiritual awakening. My itinerary did not include any visits with gurus or stays in sanctuaries, and yet I felt a spiritual opening in myself on a daily basis. Spirituality infuses everything in India - after all, Indians see a bit of God in every humble cow - and learned more from my drivers and my polo teachers than I could have in a month of Sundays at home. I plan to come back in 2-3 months to trek by horseback through the Rajasthan desert. I wouldn't consider making my arrangements through any other Travel Service than Tiger Paw." Susan wrote again in a subsequent email to IJ's father: "Dear General, I cannot stop thinking of India and can't wait to be back there. It was truly a life altering trip thanks to the excellent planning and introductions by Tiger Paw. I am enclosing some American magazines that I think are suitable for you to advertise your web site. I am so excited about the jodhpurs and boots being made for me by the President's Bodyguards cobbler and tailor. That takes the cake and truly defines IJ's & Tiger Paw." Of the same trip, Sheila Pauls sent us detailed feedback and observations for which we are most indebted. The comment that stood out, however, was when she said over the phone: We are also indebted to Susan and Sheila for recommending us while in India to other visitors not travelling with us. We were all especially fortunate when we were able to show them a tiger on their third day in India! "I always avoid using too many superlatives, however in this case I must plead guilty as this e-mail is littered with superlatives! First and foremost, it was the best and most enjoyable holiday we have ever been on and we certainly intend coming back. We were almost overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of everyone we met. I was very well looked after with regards to polo, and had as many horses and as much time on them as I wanted. Once again, all we can say is thank you for all the time and trouble you and your father took to make this such a memorable holiday. We look forward to seeing you again in India." "I would just like to say thank you again for your organization of what turned out to be a fabulous trip and, in particular, your wonderful hospitality in Delhi where I felt a part of the family. I am already thinking of my next trip to India as there is so much more I wish to see and do and well as continue with polo. Many thanks to you and your staff. P.S. Please do not hesitate to give my name and email to anyone interested, as I can give a truly glowing report of my experiences." "All went very well with Jim and Diane. They had a smashing trip to Argentina, and a day trip to Uruguay. They loved it all - Polo (at La Martina, and Palermo), the countryside, the wine, the service, the people, the pace of life, the horses, etc., and especially Toia. She made it happen for them, and "we owe her one for that". Jim spoke very highly of your operation. All the best IJ - Many thanks for all your hard work and ongoing coordination!"
