The
Polo Club Villa a Sesta is a large, well-equipped facility located in one of the
most beautiful and picturesque areas of Italy; the Tuscan countryside between Arezzo and Siena.
The Polo Club with its
beautiful Tuscan Italian characteristics are perfectly
integrated into the landscape. Two Club Houses, one summer, and the other winter
are available. On the grounds of a historic estate, perfectly integrated into
the landscape and characteristics of the area, the Polo Club Villa a Sesta was
created on the initiative of the S.F.P. Societe Financiere Privee team of
Geneva, a repeat winner of important international tournaments.
Our immediate surroundings are one of vineyards and olive groves. The Polo Club is in Loc. Ripaltella Bucine (Arezzo) and developed on 45 hectares. It is international standard (280x220 m,) and has a stick and ball area as well as a practice field... The center is active all the year, the permanent staff is Argentine. An ancient one casolare typical From Tuscany of XVII the century has been recovered a small hotel "the Relais Martina" and a "Very Exclusive" club house. from Tuscany typical restaurant completes the setting.
ACCOMMODATION AND CLUB HOUSES:
A heritage building
has been restored-to accommodate guests. The Relais Martina is a fine venue to
stay and enjoy Tuscan hospitality. 7 DOUBLE ROOMS with all amenities are
available here. As mentioned, the club
has both winter and summer clubhouses available to members and guests. The
occasion to mingle after the match will be even more pleasant in the newly
opened restaurant, offering the possibility to taste and savour excellent
cuisine accompanied by grand Tuscan wines. There is also the possibility of
lodging for those wishing to take intensive polo training courses.
Wine And Oil:
The Club
owners have one property of 35 hectares of vineyard specialized with one
production anniversary of 1600hl of Chianti wine Classic D.O.C.G. Our wine
production has a wide range for every occasion and include- Chianti Classic
D.O.C.G. of vintage year wine produced with grapes of Saint Giovese, Lanaiolo,
Trebbiano and Malvasia. The cultivated grapes are Saint Giovese 95% and Cabernet
5%. E' a wine that comes aged in botti of rovere from 30/50 hl for a period of
approximately 18 months. - Chianti Reservoir Classic D.O.C.G. comes made with
grapes of Saint Giovese 100%. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of
450.metres.
