Clinics with Rege Ludwig

WHAT: Rege Ludwig, world renowned polo instructor, will be conducting clinics and lessons at the beautiful Eldorado Polo Club this winter and spring. Horses are also available to lease for stick-and-ball and club chukkers. The clinics, which are held on the grass polo fields, will be three days in duration. The hours (6-7 hours/day) of instruction (we will begin at 7:00 am) will be flexible in some cases, so that you can watch the high-goal games. There are clinics for beginning players and experienced polo players. The intermediate level clinics (indicated on the application) are for experienced polo players and past students up to the 2-goal level. For the beginning level clinics the participants need to be adequate riders. This means being able to stop, turn, and hand gallop on an outdoor polo field with confidence.

Please bring with you mallets (at least 2), boots, helmet, britches or jeans (if you have white britches or jeans they may be worn into the clubhouse at the Sunday polo match after the clinic) and a willingness to work hard and learn a great deal. Optional items are: spurs, whip and knee guards. If you do not have the above items, there is a tack shop located at the Eldorado Polo Club where any of these may by purchased. Coffee, donuts, juices, fruit and snacks are available through the day.
